Our Transition Year Students recently went to the Mall to see and learn about the sustainable garden, they also had a talk about sustainable development goals and responsible consumption. We also discussed the ongoing war and the implications in food shortages, with rising costs of fuel and a lack of raw materials for food production becoming a huge issue. They decided to see if we could plant something small and keep it alive, they started with wild flower seeds and may move onto something bigger and more ambitious in the future!
